From time to time we take in gerbils that are in need of new homes. All gerbils that we take in go through a quarantine period so we can check for illness and temperament. Some come to us pregnant or with young litters. We raise those litters and adopt them out when they are ready. Any gerbil that we do not feel is suitable for adoption is kept here at Lil' Whiskers so we can give it the care it needs. When rescued gerbils are ready to be adopted, they will be labeled as available.
Rescues require a $5.00 adoption fee per gerbil.
